DESCRIPTION:Join LULAC Council 4971 for our highly anticipated Selena Look-A-Like Contest! We are looking for fans to channel the “Queen of Tejano” through style\, charisma\, and stage presence. Check in at 3:00 PM\, contest beings at 3:30 PM. Entry Fee must be submitted before April 27\, 2026; All proceeds support local scholarships and educational programs. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEligibility: Ages 9+. \n\n\n\nRegistration Deadline: April 27\, 2026. \n\n\n\nPerformance: 3 minute stage limit for runway walks\, posing\, or optional lip-syncing. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nContest Guidelines\n\n\n\nEligibility and Entry Information \n\n\n\n1. Eligibility: Participants must be 9 years and older. The contest is divided into two groups: Group 1 (ages 9-15) and Group 2 (ages 16 and above). \n\n\n\n3. Application Details: Participants must complete the application form and submit the entry fee by April 27\, 2026 \n\n\n\nRequired Participant Information \n\n\n\n• Participant’s full name and age \n\n\n\n• Parent or guardian’s information\, including name\, address\, and phone number \n\n\n\n• Emergency contact information \n\n\n\nMedia and Promotion Agreement \n\n\n\n• By entering the contest\, participants agree to be photographed and recorded. \n\n\n\n• The festival may use photos and videos captured during the event for promotional purposes. \n\n\n\nCostume Guidelines and Judging Criteria \n\n\n\n1. Outfit: Contestants may wear any of Selena’s iconic outfits or signature hairstyles\, or they may design an outfit inspired by Selena’s style. All outfits must be family-friendly and allow for safe movement. \n\n\n\n2. Judging Criteria: \n\n\n\nPhysical resemblance — Judges will evaluate facial features\, hair\, and the overall look. \n\n\n\n Styling accuracy — Consideration will be given to the accuracy of the outfit\, makeup\, and accessories. \n\n\n\nStage presence — Participants will be assessed on their confidence\, charisma\, and ability to connect with the crowd. \n\n\n\nStage Performance Requirements \n\n\n\n• Each contestant is allotted 3 minutes on stage. \n\n\n\nAllowed Activities: \n\n\n\n• Runway walk \n\n\n\n• Posing \n\n\n\n• Light choreography \n\n\n\n• Optional Lip – syncing  \n\n\n\n\nEnter the Contest Now
